Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Katabolic (operated by SaaSquatch Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales) collects and uses data when you visit katabolic.com. We take a minimal data approach — we collect only what we need to understand how the site is being used and to improve it.

What data we collect

Analytics data. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are visited, where traffic comes from, and how users navigate the site. This data is aggregated and does not identify individuals. We do not use Google Analytics.

Calculator inputs. The tools on Katabolic (TDEE calculator, macro calculator, and others) run entirely in your browser. We do not store or transmit the values you enter. No account is required and no data is sent to our servers.

Contact data. If you email us at hello@katabolic.com, we receive your email address and any information you include in your message. We use this only to respond to your enquiry.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies. These include a session cookie set by our hosting infrastructure and any cookies set by our analytics provider. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. This will not prevent you from using any part of the site, including the tools.

Third-party services

Amazon Associates.Some links on Katabolic are Amazon affiliate links. When you click these links, Amazon may set cookies on your device. Amazon's privacy policy governs how they use that data. We do not receive any personal data from Amazon as a result of these links.

Other affiliate partners.Similar to Amazon, other affiliate partners (such as supplement retailers) may set cookies when you click through from Katabolic. Each partner's own privacy policy applies to data collected on their platforms.

Your rights under UK GDPR

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

Data retention

Analytics data is retained for 12 months and then aggregated or deleted. Contact emails are retained for as long as the correspondence is relevant, and deleted when no longer needed.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
